REPORTING INDUSTRY PROGRESS
In 2002, GOLF 20/20 published its first “Industry Report,” which took a comprehensive look at the U.S. golf world in the previous year. With this report, as well as those that followed, 20/20 sought to present the industry with a useful examination of the challenges and opportunities it faced as a barometer with which to gauge its progress. Internally, GOLF 20/20 refers to these as “FRIP” reports, because they deal primarily with Facilities, Rounds, Interest and Participation. Read the 2001 report for a detailed analysis of these factors in 2001.
