The most heavily downloaded report on this website is the 2002 Golf Economy Report, which GOLF 20/20 conducted with SRI International and which revealed that golf is a $62 billion industry annually. That report will be updated in 2007 (based on 2005 information), and will include a new component, the total annual economic impact of golf in the U.S. “The Golf Economy of the United States: 2005” will be available on this site in September, 2007.

State Reports

Additionally, in 2006 GOLF 20/20, again working with SRI International, developed a template though which any state can affordably commission an economic impact study. The first report was completed for Virginia in late 2006 and is available on this site. Reports for Ohio, Michigan, Iowa, Louisiana, California, Minnesota and several other states will be completed by the summer of 2007 and will also be published here.
