Director of Donor Relations & Events

Golf is a game fueled by people with passion, integrity and drive. The newly created USGA Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the United States Golf Association, is recruiting leaders with these same values to advance fundraising and engagement.
Reporting to the Head of the USGA Foundation, the Director, Donor Events & Experience, is a senior leader for the USGA Foundation with primary responsibilities for ensuring donor satisfaction, expanding the supporter base, optimizing digital donor experience, and driving revenue through a wide range of events and donor engagement activities. The Director of Donor Events & Experience (USGA Foundation) will establish the identity and creative strategy for the new USGA Foundation. The Director will craft and execute the Foundation’s engagement strategy, which includes strategically and creatively leveraging content, social media, events, data analytics, and personal interactions with donors, members and supporters.
Leading a team of events, operations, and content professionals, the Director of Donor Events & Experience (USGA Foundation) plans, executes, and evaluates efforts to maximize fundraising through stewardship, impactful communications collateral, and enhanced user experience.
Key measures for success include increasing retention by deepening relationships with current donors and supporters. The Director of Donor Events and Experience (USGA Foundation) will provide leadership in a variety of roles including events, digital experience, content creation, project management, and impact storytelling.
