Director, Compensation

How You’ll Do It

 Lead the analysis, design, implementation, communication and administration of base pay and incentive programs, market pricing, executive compensation, and equity programs / administration in a large, complex growth organization.

 Manage all aspects of annual compensation review and administration of merit and bonus.

 Responsible for ensuring internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with applicable global regulations and policies.

 Participates and collaborates with external peers and organizations to stay current on compensation trends, issues, legislative and compliance items to identify possible implications and solutions to our programs and workforce.

 Monitor changes in external labor market conditions and establish proposals and recommendations for managing current events relating to minimum wage, tipping, pay/gender equity, etc.

 React quickly to changing business and market realities and demonstrate openness and flexibility to client needs and requests.

 Consult with Talent Acquisition partners and business leaders in developing strategic compensation solutions and supporting pay offers for new hires, internal promotes, etc. that support hiring the best talent in competitive market.

 Manage vendor relationships, negotiating services and managing costs.

 Ensure compensation data integrity within systems and reporting.

What We’re Looking For
 7-10 years of relevant and progressive experience in compensation department management or consulting, preferably within the Hospitality, Entertainment, Restaurant, Hotel or similar industry with a diversified workforce.

 Experience in a complex and multi-business environment that is growing at a rate of 20% or more annually.

 Experience leading successful, complex, cross-discipline initiatives required.

 Familiarity with SEC filings (10K, 8K and Forms 1-5) and SOX compliance.

 Technical expertise regarding data models, data mining and segmentation techniques.

 Professional compensation designation(s) (CCP, GRP, CECP) are preferred.

 4-year degree from an accredited university with a focus in Business, Finance, HR, Mathematics, or Statistics.
